The Tolland Man is one of the best-preserved bog bodies in the world. The body was discovered with a rope around its neck, indicating that the man had been killed by hanging. Traces of a final meal of porridge or oats were still in the small intestines. Porridge and oats are not what we want for our last meal. Steak and potato and ice cream top our list of things to eat but that is for another day and another list. If you would like to go see him he is on display at the Silkeborg Museum in Denmark.
