Top Ten Nasty Halloween Candies

10. Necco Wafers

Necco Wafers have been around since 1847, which was probably an excellent candy in the year 1847. They taste like chalk, so anyone who defends these candies is either 150 years old or enjoys licking chalkboards.

 

9. Smarties

Similar to the nasty Necco Wafers above, Smarties have a very distinct chalky, sometimes clumpy (when wet) texture.  These things should never, ever go inside your mouth unless… well.. Never!

 

8. Candy Buttons

These pieces of hard sugar candy dots are attached to the paper they are sold on. Guess who is the maker of these nasty things?  Yep, Necco Wafers. The candy is awful, as is the glue you undoubtedly swallow as well.

Who doesn’t love a nice, hard, round, roll of chocolate and well… dentures, teeth, crowns, bridgework, or fillings rolling around your mouth?

I mean.. The are nasty hard shells with a nasty licorice inside. What more is there to say? Except stay away!

Werther’s Original … The only reason a candy like this is given out on Halloween is because a 95 year old man forgot to hit the store to buy real candy and had to break into his private stash. Poor kids!
